Fundraising in a Crisis Certificate Program

Current Affairs: Crisis Management Certificate Program

Even during ordinary times, fundraising and financial viability are priorities for any organization. Now, as we pass one year of navigating the COVID-19 pandemic, fundraising has become even more urgent and vital.

For this reason, Co.act is pleased to offer nonprofit professionals a unique opportunity to gain a certification in fundraising from a leading institution in the field, the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy at Indiana University. The first cohort will take classes from April 15, 2021 to May 13, 2021, while the second cohort’s classes will take place from May 20, 2021, to June 17, 2021.

We’re offering this course at a cost of $700, which represents a discount of over 40% against the ordinary cost. We are currently in the process of awarding scholarships to organizations that I applied within the application window to ensure that those who traditionally haven’t had the same opportunities in the field — like professionals of color and/or folks from organizations with smaller professional development budgets — can be included in this professional development opportunity.

About the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy

The Lilly Family School of Philanthropy is the world’s first school dedicated solely to the study and teaching of philanthropy.

Established in 2012, the school was inaugurated in 2013 and named for one of America’s great philanthropic families in honor of their generations of generosity and leadership.

Indiana University has been at the vanguard of philanthropy education since the Center on Philanthropy at Indiana University was founded at IUPUI in 1987. Led by the center, IU established the field of philanthropic studies; established the nation’s first bachelor’s, master’s, and Ph.D. degrees in the field; and created the nation’s first endowed chair in philanthropy
